The Good Shoe

Heels can feel like walking on fire when you don't have a good pair. Some of the basics when shopping for shoes are making sure it's the right size, you can walk in them and that they are supportive. This may seem like common sense but when the shoe is so cute, you're getting a great deal or they match perfectly with your outfit, these basic factors become unimportant.
One of the best ways to refrain from making these bad decisions is to answer these questions when running into a situation like this. Is the shoe worth sacrificing my feet? Why can't I find another shoe that goes with my outfit just as well as this pair? Will these shoes survive the night? Can you really see yourself walking in these? Basically, pull yourself together to make the best decision for yourself.

If you intend on buying a pair of shoes that last ten minutes or you don't plan on actually walking in these shoes then it might be the right decision for you to get the cheaper pair or the pair that are 6 inches. There's a reason why all shoes are not made the same but it's up to you to select the right pair.

FASHION TIP: If you're the shopper that likes the tall look but hates the pain, invest in a pair that have the platform soles. They look like they would be incredibly painful to wear but are actually quite comfortable for the most part. This is because the platform allows the front of your foot to have a better alignment with the heel, allowing the heel to feel shorter on your feet.

"Basically, pull yourself together..." LOL. Believe it or not this is actually very insightful for me given I'm not a seasoned heel rocker
