So maybe instead of wearing an electric red, you may decide to wear crimson or scarlet. It all depends on what speaks to your style and physical features. White is neutral so everyone looks elegant in white but it emphasizes your size. If you are self-conscious about certain areas of your body, it's better to wear this color on the areas that you want to be the focal point in your look. While shade is important, I believe navy and cobalt blue look great on everybody.
Some people may not wear a certain color simply because they don't like that color. If you are one of these people, I highly suggest you learn the meanings of different colors as this is an essential element to branding your style.
The look I've created is for someone who is new to incorporating red in her style but embraces blue and white. She is showing her feminine side with the form-fitting Rebecca Taylor pants and with the bow in this Kate Spade luma top. You will also notice that this Clare V. fold over clutch is symbolic of a flag with its stripes and it speaks to the conservative woman that she is. She's not basic but she doesn't like to color outside of her lines, if you know what I mean.
Have fun this 4th of July holiday and show your own personal style in red, white and blue. When people are able to recognize you in a confined look, you have truly been able to define your own style and are living in that style effortlessly.
