Let's break this down. I'm going to my first day at work in a highly competitive environment amongst many men. My unconscious mind may tell me to wear a suit because that is what I've worn to work in the past. So my unconscious mind may think my purpose for getting dressed is to follow the rules of dress code in the work place and my choice of attire has nothing to do with my success in winning in a competitive environment but all to do with following the rules at work.
Because winning in a highly competitive environment is my conscious choice for getting dressed, I need to focus my mind on how I will do that from my appearance alone. I may choose to wear a professionally feminine dress to distract men from doing their work, as I stay focused on winning or I may choose to wear a black suit to show power with red lipstick to instill authority and confidence. (Understand that color choice is just as important as what you choose to wear)
This is the difference between relying on your unconscious mind to determine your purpose for getting dressed and defining your true purpose in order to consciously dress yourself on all levels that will eventually become a part of your unconscious behavior.
It can take some time to fully implement your purposes for getting dressed into your unconscious mind but when you do, you will start living the life you truly desire and deserve as your goals will be accomplished.
