I love clutches because they convey so much elegance with how they're worn, their size and are primarily appropriate for formal attire. It is their appearance that excites us to purchase but just about everything else about them is an inconvenience.

Heels can feel like walking on fire when you don't have a good pair. Some of the basics when shopping for shoes are making sure it's the right size, you can walk in them and that they are supportive. This may seem like common sense but when the shoe is so cute, you're getting a great deal or they match perfectly with your outfit, these basic factors become unimportant.
Everyone needs some form of a winter coat even if your winters are more like summers. What some might describe as a lightweight jacket could be your winter coat. For those of us who have harsh winters, we might have several coats for specific occasions. A winter coat can be an investment so it's essential to understanding what coat is best for us.
Black and white are our foundation colors, our safe choices and work extremely well together to be completely opposite. But why?
Jewelry is jewelry. A person of style values both costume jewelry and fine jewelry. They both add the final touch to an ensemble and can make an ensemble come to life.
Costume jewelry can be just as elegant as fine jewelry and if designed properly, can look like expensive pieces. It's not about being able to afford these pieces, it's about getting the most value for you purchase. You may not want to spend tons of money on something you'll only wear once, especially if you can find something that is just as elegant for a lot less money.
I find it valuable to select fine jewelry when it's a piece that you will wear often and creates new looks for your outfits. I am also the shopper that regardless of the monetary investment I need to put in an item, if I absolutely love it, I will purchase it! I would not say I am materialistic but sometimes purchasing an item will truly make you happier. It's important to reward yourself for your hard work and your accomplishments. It also important to understand the difference between giving symbols to tangible items and being attached to things.
Karl Lagerfeld did a phenomenal job on the Chanel S/S 2014 collection. He gave you the classic Chanel style but made it fun! It was as if he created paintings of Chanel garments instead of designing them and these paintings were absolutely beautiful.
Interestingly enough, what appeared to be the classic tweed material that Chanel uses was not tweed at all...Lagerfeld used hybrid multi-processed of de- and reconstructed debris that was mounted on tulle in order to create these looks, how unique!
