When I was growing up, I told my mom I wanted to be a barbie. I was only 7 years old so I had no clue that this wasn't humanly possible. She told me that barbies are made of plastic and my response was, "So what are we made of, wood?" I must've figured because I am brown skin, I have to be made of wood! LOL
This month marks my one year anniversary as a blogger. Although I am not as established as I would like to be, I am very happy with my progression. If it's one thing I've learned when starting a blog or a business, it's that progression is your best motivation. It's the natural and most effective way of getting excited to continue working. It's also the best sign that you're on the right path to growth.
So many people confuse fashion sense for style but the truth is, style is not about fashion at all. Style is all about you and how you define yourself. I know I talk about this all the time, but I wanted to create a post that focuses on everything that style encompasses.
It seems like as many men start to mature in relationships, they are looking for the benefits of being married without the responsibility. They want a woman they can come home to, show signs of respect for and a woman who is always there for them. These men essentially want "wifey" but not a wife. They are focused on having what I like to call, a "permanent girlfriend."
