So you appreciate the positive things in your life instead of focusing on the negative because you're not constantly thinking about what someone else is doing.
When you aren't so worried about what someone else is doing, you can focus your mind on figuring out what you need to do in order to live a happier life. Everyone's journey in life is different. Whatever is meant for you, will be for you and whatever is not will never be. So it makes no sense to worry about anything in life because worrying does nothing for you but stress you out.
It's also important to realize that many people will show you openly the good things that are happening in their life and shy away from the bad things or avoid telling you at all; even if you consider them to be your friend. So those people you are comparing yourself to may not be as happy as you think they are and you're stressing out because you think they're living a better life than you.
Learn to realize that your life will never be perfect and enjoy your journey through life by appreciating what you already have and you'll live a more peaceful and happier life. You shouldn't feel like you need to compete with those around you to see who is living better. People don't live better than others, they simply live different but you can live a better life for yourself by viewing your life from a different perspective.
