From all the movies and episodes from your favorite tv shows, haunted houses and pranks on the job, fear is being instilled into our minds on more of a subconscious level during the month of October. I say this because most of us aren't frightened on a serious level but the reoccurrence of exposure to things that bring about fear, can tell our minds that we like fear. Some of us can watch the same scary movie many times and will be scared during the same scenes no matter how many times we watch it. Because we continue to scare ourselves this way, the same behavior occurs in our personal lives.
For example, you may consistently fear losing your job so you always give 110% at work every single day, always follow the rules and suck up to your boss day after day. Even the slightest failure at your job brings about fear and as a result you find yourself working even harder to make up for your failure and envision yourself losing your job if anything else were to go wrong.
This is not the life you should be living. You should worry less, fear less and live more. It is more of your worry and your fear that causes you to make mistakes than it is your lack of knowledge. If you focus your energy on believing in yourself and positivity for your life, you will find that your mind will lead you to better understanding, you'll accomplish more and you will live a more fearless life.
So I'm not saying to stop celebrating Halloween, but I am saying to stop celebrating it in a fearful manner because it has more of an impact on your life than you think even if you don't think you are truly afraid. Whatever your mind focuses on, it will manifest and create more of. So if you focus on fearful things, you will create more fear in your life.
